This crispy air fryer chicken recipe is quick and easy, perfect for a family meal!

- 2 pounds skin on chicken (legs and thighs)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Oil for spraying chicken (vegetable, canola or olive oil)
Instructions
- Wash and dry chicken; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- In another large bowl, whisk together flour and seasonings.
- Coat chicken with the flour mixture.
- Dip chicken in the buttermilk mixture.
- Repeat the coating process in the flour mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket, spray basket with oil, and leave room around each piece to allow air to flow.
- Spray chicken with oil.
- Cook at 370 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
- Turn chicken over and spray with more oil.
- Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until golden.
- Repeat with remaining chicken.
- Serve immediately.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator in an airtight container.
Notes
- This recipe works well with any part of the chicken.
- For extra crunch, you can double coat the chicken.
