A quick and delicious creamy penne pasta made in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

- 12 oz penne pasta (uncooked)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 cups broth (vegetable or chicken)
- 4 oz cream cheese (cubed)
- 0 cup heavy cream
- 0 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0 tsp salt
- 0 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Set Instant Pot to sauté and heat olive oil. Add onion and cook until softened.
- Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Add penne pasta, broth, and seasonings. Secure lid and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Quick release pressure and open lid carefully.
- Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust seasoning and let sit 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- The heavy cream and Parmesan cheese are optional for extra creaminess.
- Ensure to stir well after releasing pressure to combine all ingredients.
