- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil (plus more for greasing and drizzling)
- 1 cup chopped scallions
- Flaky sea salt to taste
- Toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Pour in warm water and olive oil. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover and let it rest at room temperature for 3-4 hours (or overnight in the fridge).
- Grease a baking pan generously with olive oil. Transfer dough into the pan and gently stretch it to fit.
- Let the dough rise in the pan for 45-60 minutes or until puffy.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Use your fingers to dimple the dough. Drizzle more olive oil over the top.
- Evenly sprinkle chopped scallions, flaky salt, and sesame seeds if using.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
