- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 6 large jalapeños, halved and deseeded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ cups cooked brisket, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- ½ cup honey, for drizzling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
- Top with chopped brisket and wrap each in an egg roll wrapper, sealing the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle with honey before serving.
