Description
Delicious white chocolate chip cookies made with non-alcoholic beer for a unique twist.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup non-alcoholic beer
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Use an electric mixer to cream them together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and then stir in the non-alcoholic beer until evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix!
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie as they will spread while baking.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the center is still soft.
- Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For best results, use room temperature butter and eggs.
- Do not overmix the dough once the flour is added to maintain a soft texture.
