Description

Delicious white chocolate chip cookies made with non-alcoholic beer for a unique twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup non-alcoholic beer
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Use an electric mixer to cream them together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and then stir in the non-alcoholic beer until evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix!
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie as they will spread while baking.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the center is still soft.
  9. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For best results, use room temperature butter and eggs.
  • Do not overmix the dough once the flour is added to maintain a soft texture.
