Description

A delicious turkey and cranberry filling encased in golden crescent roll dough, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out the crescent triangles in a circular pattern, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the points extending outward, resembling a star shape.
  4. Spoon the turkey and cranberry filling onto the widest part of each triangle.
  5. Carefully fold the points of the crescent triangles over the filling, tucking them underneath (the filling should be enclosed).
  6. Brush the top of the crescent ring with the beaten egg to give it a golden color as it bakes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
