Description

Delicious and crispy cabbage fritters that are easy to make and perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded cabbage in a bowl, sprinkle with the salt, and let it sit for 10 minutes to help release extra moisture.
  2. Squeeze the cabbage well with your hands or a clean kitchen towel, then transfer it to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the eggs, flour, chopped onion, garlic, green onions, black pepper, and paprika, then mix until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Scoop portions of the mixture into the skillet and flatten each one gently into fritter shapes.
  6. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the fritters are golden brown and crisp on the outside.
  7. Transfer the cooked fritters to a paper towel-lined plate and serve warm.
