Description

A delicious savory bagel platter with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 assorted savory bagels (sliced in half)
  • 6 oz plain cream cheese (softened or whipped)
  • 6 oz whipped chive cream cheese
  • 12 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 large tomato (sliced)
  • 1 English cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lemon (sliced or wedged)
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs (optional, peeled and halved)
  • 1/2 cup pickled red onion
  • 2 oz capers (larger caper berries can also be added for variety)
  • 3 fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup chives (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Everything Bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Arrange bagels on a large serving board or platter. (Toast in advance or offer a toaster for guests to use.)
  2. Spoon cream cheese spreads into small bowls and place them on the board.
  3. Add smoked salmon to the board, arranging it in loose ribbons or delicate folds.
  4. Add slices of tomato, cucumber, and lemon.
  5. Add halved hard-boiled eggs. (optional)
  6. Garnish board with pickled red onions, capers, dill sprigs, chopped chives, and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. (Everything bagel seasoning can also be offered in a small dish to spoon on top).
